Jesus said to go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He also says to love our neighbor as ourselves. By giving time, resources and talents we believe that a mission trip is a great way to fulfill these callings on our lives. So, whether that’s visiting a sponsor child you support in Uganda, assisting in a kid’s camp in Cambodia or getting your hands dirty in a construction project in West Virginia- it is always a humbling experience as we spread the love of Jesus and bring glory to God. 

Each organization has their own guidelines as to what the minimum age requirement is. While there may be some exceptions, generally ages 13-17 may attend if accompanied by a parent. Specific details as to requirements will be listed in each trip’s description. 

Nope! You may be asked this information in the application, but your answer does not automatically rule you in or out either way, it just helps us know a little more about you. The only requirement is that you love Jesus and want to help others to know Him and experience His love too!

Mission trips can be pricey depending on how far you are traveling and for how long. While Amplify doesn’t organize fundraising opportunities, you will be provided with a link that goes directly to our church platform where friends and family can donate specifically towards your trip cost. We also hope to do a domestic trip each year that is usually significantly less expensive and has a shorter duration. 

Every country has different vaccination requirements. We always recommend checking with your doctor as well as the CDC for current requirements and recommendations.  

International travel will require a current passport with accurate information that does not expire for 30 days after the trip’s return date. E-visas are also required, and instructions would be given closer to the departure date.
