INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR AMPLIFY CHURCH WEDDINGS
Please note that none of our facilities are available for receptions. Our Wedding Team will be happy to answer any additional questions that you may have. Call the church office at 412.793.1600.
In order to serve our church community as effectively as possible, we request that you, or an immediate member of your family, be a member or regular attendee of Amplify. Members / regular attendees are described as anyone on record as a current, active volunteer or a regular financial contributor to Amplify Church.
A five month notice to reserve church facilities is preferred. Weddings are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Available days and times for weddings at our locations are as follows:
SATURDAY WEDDINGS: A maximum 5-hour time slot is allotted for Saturday weddings at all of our locations, with the latest ceremony start time at 6 PM. Facilities must be completely vacated by 8 PM on Saturdays.
SUNDAY WEDDINGS are not available at any of our locations.
WEEKDAY WEDDINGS can generally occur between 6 PM and 8 PM at all of our locations.
SEATING CAPACITY (totals are approximate)
All weddings held at our Pittsburgh East campus take place in our Theater space, which seats approximately 350 guests.
Our City Campus holds 250 guests comfortably.

Because it is our greatest desire to help prepare and equip you for a fulfilling, life-long marriage, we require all couples being married by an Amplify Church pastor to attend a minimum of 3 pre-marriage counseling sessions with a designated Amplify Church mentor couple. Mentor couples are members of Amplify who have had successful, faith-based marriages of 10 years or more. Pre-marriage counseling involves a fee which is detailed in the FEES section below.
A $100 deposit is due when submitting the Wedding Application Form. This fee is fully refundable a) if your requested date is unavailable, or b) up until the date of your first pre-marriage counseling session.
Wedding Fee: This fee covers the cost of pre-marriage counseling, Wedding Coordinator services, a sound technician, cleaning and maintenance of our facilities before and after your ceremony, set up and tear down of the room, and communion, if desired.
Pittsburgh East Campus: $500 | City Campus: $500 | Indiana Campus: $500
Officiating Pastor Fee: $200
If the facility is not left in proper condition, an additional fee may apply.
Procuring musicians and vocalists is the sole responsibility of the couple and honorariums per performer are at your discretion.
ABOUT OFF-SITE WEDDINGS:
If you'd like to have a member of the Amplify Pastoral Staff officiate your wedding at an off-site location, the following fees and requirements apply:
Pre-Marriage Counseling Fee: $200
Officiating Pastor Fee: $200
Deposit: $100 (same criteria as on-site weddings listed above)
Ceremonial Assistant: For off-site wedding ceremonies performed by an Amplify pastor, we require that the couple have a person assigned as a Ceremonial Assistant. This person must be available for the dress rehearsal as well as the ceremony and be in charge of all details and logistics related to the ceremony (i.e. sound requirements, order of service, special elements, bridal party assistance, etc.) If you do not have a person to fill this role, a member of our Amplify Wedding Team may be available for a minimal fee of $50 to $100.
